Our owner and manager Hannah Simms has a natural passion for children combined with strong leadership skills, and her past experience provides a great foundation for TippyToes. Since achieving her initial diplomas Hannah gained a wealth of practical and management experience in a variety of settings including home-based care, nurseries and children’s homes. She cared for children with psychological and behavioural needs and has provided support and advice to families to enable them to parent their children safely in accordance with care plans.

Hannah is fully committed to having a highly qualified and experienced team who share in the ethos of the setting. She is supported by a Deputy Manager and a Third in Charge, and each room has a Senior Nursery Practitioner who works alongside a team of Nursery Practitioners and Nursery Nurses. Our cook is qualified in Food Safety and Catering and has completed Allergens Training, and the majority of staff hold a full Paediatric First Aid certificate.

Our team is strong and well established. They are passionate, and full of energy and creative ideas. Hannah continually develops both her own skills and qualifications and those of the team by identifying and providing regular training opportunities, investing in professional development and frequently evaluating practice to allow for continual improvement.
