We believe that children learn best through play, so we offer activities that are both educational and enjoyable. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidance closely, with an emphasis on having fun and building the foundations for a life-long love of learning.

We provide countless indoor and outdoor opportunities for exploring, problem solving, hands-on ‘having a go’, building, concentrating to following a task through, experimenting with familiar and unfamiliar materials, creative expression, teamwork and independent choice.

The EYFS identifies three ‘prime areas’ of learning and four ‘specific areas’ of learning, and our team offer challenging, playful opportunities across these areas to enable children to achieve their full potential. These are:

The expertise of our own team is complemented by additional enriching experiences. For example, a local yoga teacher provides an age-appropriate yoga class for some of our older children, and we have welcomed a travelling reptile roadshow, amongst other visitors.
